Situated on an isolated plateau of Aravali range of hills about 4000 ft.above sea level is perhaphs one of the prettiest hill stations in INDIA and the best nearest place for mountaineering & Adventure sports for people of western India. Mt. Abu is also a wild life sanctuary known for its biodiversity, Panthers, hyenas, bears and all kind of small cats are found here.  183 listed species of birds makes it ‘paradise’ for ornithologists. Guru Shikhar, a peak at an altitude of 5,676 feet (1722 meters), is the highest point in Rajasthan. It is located at a distance of 15 km from Mount Abu. This peak is the home to the temple of Dattatreya, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the peak is called Guru Shikhar after him as Guru Dattatreya had dignified this place and his footprints are sanctified here in a rock in a cave.

MT. ABU TENTATIVE ITINERARY

Day – 1 : Departure from school by 3x2 bus to Mt. Abu at 5:00 in the evening
Day – 2           :   

Arrival at the campsite, Tent allotment, Briefing about the campsite, rules and refutation.

Post Lunch : Trek to Limdi Kothi- Caving (Caving will remove the fear and develop self confidence of the child.

Day – 3 : Rock climbing & Rappelling, Night Trekking – Kodra Dam, Night caving
Day – 4 : Optical like : Commando Net, Commando Bridge, Burma bridge, Balance beam, crawling , Tyre crossing. Toed Rock , Vallys Wlk trek, Sunset point
Day – 5 : Half day sight seeing, shopping and fun at Nakkee lake.- Fun in the camp. Departure to Home Town after evening tea.
Day – 6 : Arrival at home town in the morning.
